Introduction to basic knowledge of air compressor operation

Air compressor operation includes three aspects: pre-start preparation, monitoring during startup and operation, and daily maintenance. Before use, check the oil level, ensure connections are secure, and verify the completeness of safety accessories. Ensure cooling water is flowing smoothly (if applicable). After startup, observe the equipment for normal operation and any abnormal noises or leaks. During operation, regularly check parameters such as oil level, exhaust temperature, and pressure, and promptly drain condensate. Perform regular maintenance, including cleaning, inspection, and lubrication.

Pre-start Preparation

Check Lubricating Oil: Ensure the oil level in the oil sump is within the dipstick range.

Inspect Equipment: Check that all moving parts are flexible, connections are secure, and ensure safety devices are complete and correctly installed.

Inspect Piping: Confirm that the exhaust pipe and cooling water pipe (if applicable) are unobstructed.

Confirm Rotation: After initial startup or maintenance, confirm the motor rotation direction is correct.

Starting and Operation

Startup: Start the air compressor under no-load conditions first. Gradually increase the load after it is running normally.

Monitoring Operation: After startup, observe for 3-5 minutes to check for abnormal noises, vibrations, or leaks.

During operation, closely monitor oil level, pressure, and exhaust temperature readings, and adjust as necessary.

Stop the machine immediately if the exhaust temperature is too high (e.g., reaches 100°C).

Draining Condensate: After a period of operation, regularly drain the condensate generated in the cooler and air tank to prevent moisture from entering subsequent systems.

Daily Maintenance:

Cleaning: Regularly clean the machine body and keep the equipment and surrounding environment clean.

Inspection: Regularly check that all pipe connections are tight and leak-free.

Check all seals for integrity; replace any damaged seals promptly.

Regularly inspect filter elements and replace as needed.

Lubrication: Regularly add lubricant to lubrication points as required by the instruction manual.

Records: Record key operating parameters for future maintenance reference.

Safe Operation: Read and follow the product instruction manual. Do not modify the equipment without authorization. Do not breathe compressed air, and do not operate the machine beyond the specified pressure and temperature.
