Fault Phenomenon 3: The safety valve opens during air compressor operation.
Causes:
1. System pressure is too high, exceeding the safety valve's working pressure;
2. The safety valve setpoint is inaccurate;
3. The air compressor outlet valve is not open;
4. The spring adjustment pressure of the spring-loaded safety valve is insufficient, the spring is faulty, or the spring force is insufficient;
Solutions:
1. If normal, it will naturally return to its original position after pressure reduction;
2. Reset the safety valve setpoint;
3. Check and open the outlet valve;
4. Repair or replace the safety valve.
Fault Phenomenon 4: The safety valve leaks and does not reseat after activation.
Cause Analysis:
1. The valve core and valve seat contact surfaces are not tightly sealed;
2. Dirt, such as scale, water deposits, or debris, is present on the valve core and valve seat contact surfaces;
3. The valve stem is misaligned, bent, or deformed, or the valve core and valve seat support surfaces are misaligned;
4. Mechanical damage or corrosion to the sealing surfaces;
5. The spring has failed due to excessive load or its elasticity has decreased due to corrosion.
Solutions:
1. Adjust the contact surface between the valve seat and valve core;
2. Manually vent air or disassemble and clean;
3. Reassemble or replace the valve stem;
4. Re-grind or machine the sealing surfaces;
5. Replace the spring.
