It depends on the situation. If the budget allows, it is recommended to install one. The air duct guides the hot air to the outside, preventing the air compressor from recirculating the heat within the machine room, which would lead to an increase in the ambient temperature of the compressor room.
If you don't want to install one, the following conditions must be met:
1. The compressor room is spacious and well-ventilated;
2. The air compressor power is relatively low, ≤45KW;
3. There are only one or two air compressors.
Correct installation method:
1) The cross-sectional area of the installed air duct must not be less than the outer surface area of the cooler, and the bending angle should be minimized.
The elbows should be as smooth as possible;
2) The air compressor requires an independent exhaust pipe;
3) The pipe height should be no less than 1m, and the length no more than 2.5m;
